Press Briefing - Update on the implementation of the immediate and unconditional ceasefire agreement between Cambodia and Thailand

1. To all Cambodian citizens, both at home and abroad: Please remain vigilant against the spread of fake news and disinformation, which can easily go viral on both official platforms and social media. We urge everyone to exercise caution and verify information before sharing. 2. Cambodia remains steadfast in its commitment to peace and fully upholds the ceasefire agreement that came into effect at midnight on July 28, 2025. Our position is firmly rooted in international law, reflecting the shared principles and aspirations of the international community. 
Cambodia is not alone. The international community stands in support of our efforts—particularly the three key countries that have played an active and direct role in facilitating the successful conclusion of the ceasefire agreement: the United States, the People’s Republic of China, and Malaysia.

3. The voice of the Cambodian people, now resonating across the world, sends a clear and powerful message to the international community: Cambodia and its people seek to live in peace, free from all forms of aggression and violations of sovereignty.
Once again, we call on all our fellow citizens to remain united and to place your full confidence and trust in our Cambodian leaders and courageous armed forces in defending our territorial integrity and the safety of our people in this just and rightful cause.
